Collaboration With The Industry

The consultants of Profectus are committed to being active participants of printing industry associations through sponsorships, committees, educational programs, and conferences. Involvement and collaboration with these industry groups enable our consultants to maintain awareness of current industry trends and technologies, while contributing our knowledge and experiences back to the industry.

Profectus is a member of the Printing Industries of America Consulting Services Group. PIA is the world's largest graphic arts trade association. It serves the interests of more than 12,000 member companies. PIA, along with its affiliates, delivers products and services that enhance the growth, efficiency, and profitability of its members and the industry through advocacy, education, research, and technical information.

Profectus participates in the CIP4 Organization (Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress). CIP4 is leading the development of the JDF industry standard designed to simplify information exchange between different applications and systems in and around the graphic arts industry.

More than 600 graphic arts companies in the state of Florida consider the Printing Association of Florida their Ultimate Business Partner.

The Employment Training Panel is a California State agency designed to fund training that meets the needs of employers for skilled workers and the need of workers for good, long-term jobs. ETP has paid over $700 million in training funds since its inception, with over 370,000 California workers trained.
